Trying to find shoes that look good and are also comfortable can be a challenge.
But it’s not impossible. In fact, there’s a wide selection of shoes out there that both look good and feel great on your feet, you just need to know where to look.

With this in mind, below are our 10 shoe styles that are comfy, yet classy.

 You won’t look back!

1. Birkenstocks

As we’re in the middle of the summer months, a lot of the nation are searching for shoes that keep the feet cool, are easy to walk in and also look great. Well, Birkenstocks certainly tick all of these boxes.

You’ll never be short of choice when it comes to picking your Birkenstock shoes. So opt for the sandal versions and enjoy a summer of relaxing walks backed by your comfortable and stylish shoes.

2. Converse

A classic that never seems to go out of style is the Converse trainer. Whether you’re interested in high tops or low tops- you can be sure you’ll always find a way to be stylish with this shoe.

Wear them with a skirt for that grungy, rock chick look. Or perhaps go for a wild colour like turquoise or glitter to make a comfy statement with your feet. Converse has taken its trainers so far that there’s now a pair out there that will suit almost everyone’s taste.

3. Ankle Boots

If you like a bit of a heel on your shoe, then a low heeled ankle boot may be perfect for you. The smaller heel ensures they aren’t as strenuous on the foot, meaning you can strut around for a lot longer than you can in regular heels.

They are also a great choice when the weather turns colder as they help keep your feet warmer (but make sure to wear them with caution during icy weather, you don’t want to fall and hurt yourself!)

4. Aerosoles

If you’re after a flat shoe that will project style time and time again, then Aerosoles casual collection will fit in perfectly with your stylish yet comfortable shoe design idea.

Whether you’re after a snazzy zebra print or would just like a pair of stylish brown ones to speak for themselves - Aerosoles will have you covered.

And they also do great sandals too if you’d prefer a stylish, open toe look with maximum comfort at their heart.

5. Ballet Flats

Sticking with the flat theme, one of the most basic yet stylish shoes out there for comfort have to be the ballet flat.

These shoes are normally inexpensive to purchase, and they look great with skirts, jeans, leggings and dresses.

What we really like about ballet flats is how creative the high street gets with them. A quick look around any store will offer you an array of colours and textures perfect for any kind of outfit you have.

6. Vans

Another classically alternative shoe is brought to us by the Vans brand. What’s great about this shoe company is that they’ve managed to bridge the gap and are now a shoe enjoyed by all.

Along with this has come an array of quirky designs from Disney Princesses through to Hello Kitty shoes. You can opt for laces, or forgo them and go with a slip on decorated with an incredible style. They also offer basic colours too to ensure you can match them with as many outfits as you’d like.

If you want a comfortable trainer without having to go for a sports brand, then Vans could be the ideal choice for you.

7. Flatforms

If you would like a little extra height, as well as a shoe that will make a statement, then flatform shoes could be the ideal stylish choice for your wardrobe.

What’s great about this shoe is that despite it’s unique thick sole that adds an extra layer of height, it’s still incredibly comfortable. And if you’re small and would enjoy a bit of height in your shoe without needing to slip on heels, then flatforms are the solution you’ve been looking for.

8. High Tops

If you’re after trainers that have style, and want something other than Converse or Vans, then you should consider high top trainers.

Whether they’re from Nike, Adidas, or another brand altogether, high top trainers traditionally cover the ankle as well as the foot, and quite often are decked out in exciting colours.

However, if you'd rather a more neutral black or white high top, they’re available too. But some even go as far to incorporate wings - so we recommend you get as creative as possible when it comes to your high top choice to really make an impressive statement.

9. Cowboy boots

Cowboy boots may not be the first shoe that springs to mind when you think of comfort, but it does seem to be a shoe staple that refuses to ever go out of style.

Whether you go for the full length cowboy boot, or opt for an ankle version, classic browns and blacks quite easily come alight with delicate stitching of colourful patterns.

You don’t need to live in Nashville to sport this style, because these days cowboy boots have been adapted to suit the tastes of the UK too. You’ll be surprised just how comfortable and supportive these boots are.

10. Irregular choice

We flick back to an actual brand for the final entry on our list, and this is the exciting Irregular Choice. You’ll find their shoes are available online and in stores such as Schuh, and they really are an exciting shoe brand that will add one of a kind style and comfort to any outfit.

With shoes decorated with pandas, unicorns and more colours than you’ll find in the average painting, Irregular Choice really do know how to bring style to life.

On top of this, their collection of flat shoes and sandals are perfect for comfort - and they’re even styling shoes for men now too.

You will struggle to decide which one to go for if you ever explore the full extent of the Irregular Choice brand.

Oh Monday! I'm so not a Monday person or a morning person as I just don't want to leave my super cozy bed but so far today has been going very well and everyone seems to be in a very good mood which I just love because when people are happy around me it just makes me feel happy too.
So these pictures were some lost files from last year that I found on my computer and one of my good friends Sandra Martinez took theses photos of me. I just love the way she captured the moment she's so talented.
How's this Monday treating you?

I'm also making a healthy pineapple fried rice with chicken tonight for dinner, SO DAMN GOOD! I will create the recipe to share with you guys soon.
What are you guys up to this Monday?

This is a little late, but its better late than never. I wanted to review these eyelash extensions I got from Eyelash Canada. It was my first time trying out eyelash extensions and I was very pleased with the results. I have very short lashes and sometimes for me wearing falsies they either come off or one side is sticking up and I don't have my glue to fix it, it just becomes a mess. So having these eyelash extensions I'm able to sleep, shower, workout, just do anything in them which made my morning routines a lot easier. It's like having a “I woke up like this" moment. haha I just had to throw on a little make-up and I was ready to go. Let's just say it’s like having permanent eyelashes for a couple of weeks.

The only down side to having these lashes for me personally was that I found them a bit itchy. I'm not use to having lashes on all the time nor do I where falsies everyday just on special occasions. It takes some time to get use to them but for me I kept rubbing my eyes at times and with rubbing my eyes I would rub of a few of the lashes so within 2 weeks my lashes didn't look as full again. Maybe if I tried Mink lashes or human lashes they would feel more comfortable then synthetic for sure but that was my only down side to having the eyelash extensions.

Otherwise, eyelash extensions are amazing and perfect for any occasion whether you want to wear them for a date, to a wedding, to prom or just for everyday wear the options are endless.

Have you tried eyelash extensions? And what do you think of them?

All Items from Modani can be found HERE (except for the wall art which can be found HERE)

I was inspired by Modani to bring you how my fashion style reflects in my living room. Pulling from over 50 years of modern design, including concepts by young artists, Modani Furniture brings the trendiest items to homes in celebrity-style but with affordable, modern designs such as Minimalist, Baroque, Zen, contemporary and more. They have a wide selection of modern sofas for any modern space
For fashion bloggers accessories can make or break an outfit just like they can in your home. I went with a black and white theme with a splash of color; it’s so simple, clean and sleek. I would say my style is simple yet fun. I like to add fun pieces to my outfit such as a statement necklace with a bold color or even wearing bold lipstick can really make your outfit stand out and I think that’s where the neon yellow comes in, it really is a statement that brings the whole living room together. Just a little bit of color can really liven up things. I like to keep things interesting when it comes to the living room, as it’s where I tend to spend a lot of time whether you’re curled up on the couch reading a book or watching TV, I always want a space that when I look around there is always something exciting to look at such as a cool sculpture, or wall art. Even when it comes to storage ideas, I love how simple vintage suitcases can be a fun and neat way to store your daily items.
Simple yet unique room décor added to any room is like adding jewelry to your outfit, nothing is complete without a little detail.

Sometimes I hate Monday's just because I never want the weekend to end. Today is actually going quite good, woke up to the sun shining which started my day off right.
I went to go pick up some beauty essentials from Sephora and finally used my xmas gift cards, and I got a free gift to try which were these NARS lip pencils, so I can't wait to try those. I will probably show you some pictures of it and my thoughts on how I liked them.
Enjoy the rest of your Monday!

Layering tips for winter will help you achieve that warm chic look to complete your outfit. This winter there are plenty of different ways to layer your outfit to create a trendy look. Most people are scared to layer as they think it will make them look bigger but a perfectly layered look will compliment your curves and create the illusion of a more proportional silhouette.
I chose to go with a Brown, Gold and Black colour scheme. I really love playing with browns & neutrals in winter it creates a crisp and elegant look. The leopard print coat paired with the polka dot blouse creates a playful look as I love to mix textures and prints. Adding the black cardigan over the blouse creates the right balance of colour to complete the outfit and with ModCloth pieces there are such versatile pieces you  really have endless options on different outfit combinations. Lauren Conrad always inspired me when it came to layering and with just a few basic tips you will layer like a pro in no time. You can find the entire selection of cardigans and many more at
Here are some basic tips to get you started and with these layering tips, they are not just for winter layering but for everyday layering for any season:

1. Start with a basic, lightweight top.  A solid, neutral or striped top always works best.
2. Add another layer such as a soft cardigan or sweater. Add a splash of colour to liven up your look it will give your outfit more intrigue and depth.
3. Then add a jacket or coat.
4. Next, add a scarf. It’s like strawberries dipped in chocolate. It's a must!
5. Sprinkle on your accessories (bracelets, rings, necklaces).
6. Keep the under-layers more fitted to keep your shape looking slim.
7. If you’re concerned about your waistline, add a belt to slim your waistline.
8. Play with texture. It’s best to incorporate a mix of materials when styling a layered look. If you use all of the same fabrics, you’re look will come off as heavy and dowdy (which can add the appearance of unwanted weight as well).
Now it's your turn! I would love to see how you guys layer for this winter season, and if you have any more layering tips that you would like to share.
