All Items from Modani can be found HERE (except for the wall art which can be found HERE)

I was inspired by Modani to bring you how my fashion style reflects in my living room. Pulling from over 50 years of modern design, including concepts by young artists, Modani Furniture brings the trendiest items to homes in celebrity-style but with affordable, modern designs such as Minimalist, Baroque, Zen, contemporary and more. They have a wide selection of modern sofas for any modern space
For fashion bloggers accessories can make or break an outfit just like they can in your home. I went with a black and white theme with a splash of color; it’s so simple, clean and sleek. I would say my style is simple yet fun. I like to add fun pieces to my outfit such as a statement necklace with a bold color or even wearing bold lipstick can really make your outfit stand out and I think that’s where the neon yellow comes in, it really is a statement that brings the whole living room together. Just a little bit of color can really liven up things. I like to keep things interesting when it comes to the living room, as it’s where I tend to spend a lot of time whether you’re curled up on the couch reading a book or watching TV, I always want a space that when I look around there is always something exciting to look at such as a cool sculpture, or wall art. Even when it comes to storage ideas, I love how simple vintage suitcases can be a fun and neat way to store your daily items.
Simple yet unique room décor added to any room is like adding jewelry to your outfit, nothing is complete without a little detail.

Sometimes I hate Monday's just because I never want the weekend to end. Today is actually going quite good, woke up to the sun shining which started my day off right.
I went to go pick up some beauty essentials from Sephora and finally used my xmas gift cards, and I got a free gift to try which were these NARS lip pencils, so I can't wait to try those. I will probably show you some pictures of it and my thoughts on how I liked them.
Enjoy the rest of your Monday!

Layering tips for winter will help you achieve that warm chic look to complete your outfit. This winter there are plenty of different ways to layer your outfit to create a trendy look. Most people are scared to layer as they think it will make them look bigger but a perfectly layered look will compliment your curves and create the illusion of a more proportional silhouette.
I chose to go with a Brown, Gold and Black colour scheme. I really love playing with browns & neutrals in winter it creates a crisp and elegant look. The leopard print coat paired with the polka dot blouse creates a playful look as I love to mix textures and prints. Adding the black cardigan over the blouse creates the right balance of colour to complete the outfit and with ModCloth pieces there are such versatile pieces you  really have endless options on different outfit combinations. Lauren Conrad always inspired me when it came to layering and with just a few basic tips you will layer like a pro in no time. You can find the entire selection of cardigans and many more at www.modcloth.com/shop/cardigans
Here are some basic tips to get you started and with these layering tips, they are not just for winter layering but for everyday layering for any season:

1. Start with a basic, lightweight top.  A solid, neutral or striped top always works best.
2. Add another layer such as a soft cardigan or sweater. Add a splash of colour to liven up your look it will give your outfit more intrigue and depth.
3. Then add a jacket or coat.
4. Next, add a scarf. It’s like strawberries dipped in chocolate. It's a must!
5. Sprinkle on your accessories (bracelets, rings, necklaces).
6. Keep the under-layers more fitted to keep your shape looking slim.
7. If you’re concerned about your waistline, add a belt to slim your waistline.
8. Play with texture. It’s best to incorporate a mix of materials when styling a layered look. If you use all of the same fabrics, you’re look will come off as heavy and dowdy (which can add the appearance of unwanted weight as well).
Now it's your turn! I would love to see how you guys layer for this winter season, and if you have any more layering tips that you would like to share.
